The Teddy Bear Project is ideally suited to provide these benefits to children because we have successfully done so in the past to children and their families in North Carolina, such as in the donation of 160 teddy bears to the Greenville Sheriff’s Department. Dr. Mary Ann Markey served as the Director of the Family Center for the Family Violence Prevention Program where she had personally witnessed the positive effects that the teddy bears had on the children who were participating in court-ordered supervised family visitations in her facility. The Teddy Bear Project originated as a grassroots initiative which has evolved into a charitable non-profit organization with its corporate office in Florida. The Teddy Bear Project was granted their 501c3 on 9/15/2020.

By 2022, we are projecting to add at least 1200 more teddy bears to the number that we are currently giving to abused, neglected, abandoned and homeless children. Thank you for helping to fund our vision to provide more than 600 children annually with an unlimited supply of teddy bear hugs and snuggles.
